Bathroom Remodeling Projects We Take On

Project type 01
Primary bath: garden tub out, walk-in shower in
The most common request in suburban homes built from the 1980s to the 2000s. The corner tub and small stall shower are removed and the space is combined into one larger shower, usually with a bench, a niche wall and a fixed glass panel or door.
Typical scope
- Remove tub deck, tub and shower stall
- Relocate or add a drain; new valve with handheld
- New pan, full waterproofing, flood test
- Deal with the window that used to sit over the tub
- Often: new double vanity and lighting in the same project

Project type 02
Hall bath refresh
A shared bathroom for kids or guests, usually with a tub-shower combination. The priorities are durability, easy cleaning and storage, and getting the room back in use quickly because it's often the only other full bath.
Typical scope
- New tub or bathtub replacement with a tiled surround
- New valve and a handheld on a slide bar
- Porcelain floor tile and a drawer-heavy vanity
- Upgraded exhaust fan and mirror lighting
Project type 03
Shower rebuild after a leak
Loose tile, dark grout, a stained ceiling downstairs. The shower is taken out to the framing, damaged materials are replaced and the new shower is built with a continuous membrane and a tested pan.
Typical scope
- Demolition and moisture inspection of framing and subfloor
- Repairs to damaged framing or subfloor
- New pan, membrane and flood test
- New tile, glass and trim

Project type 04
Aging-in-place bathroom
Planned for staying in the home long term. A curbless or very low-threshold shower, blocking in the walls for grab bars, a comfort-height toilet, lever handles and good lighting, designed so it looks like a well-finished bathroom rather than equipment.

Project type 05
Period-home bathroom
In older homes, especially in the Park Cities and established Dallas neighborhoods, the brief is often to modernize plumbing and waterproofing while respecting the character of the house: classic tile patterns, furniture-style vanities and period-appropriate fixtures.

Project type 06
Powder room upgrade
Small, highly visible and a good place for a statement: a feature tile wall, a vessel or console sink, a special light fixture. Typical work includes a new vanity, wall finish, lighting and sometimes moving the toilet off the sightline from the door.
Project type 07
Vanity and surfaces update
When the shower is sound but the room looks dated: a new vanity and countertop, new bathroom flooring, mirrors, lighting and paint, without opening the wet areas.
